The kolkata knight riders pacer Ishant Sharma said the innovative multi-captain theory can actually help his Indian Premier League side do well in the second season.
Sourav Ganguly was not really happy with the idea but Ishant said there was no problem in having four captains as their different ideas can help the team overcome their failure in the first season of Indian premier league.
"Sourav Ganguly is a good captain but sometimes you need new ideas which Buchannan theory can generate," Ishant Sharma told the News24 Channel.
"Buchannan is a very good coach and bit of support from other players can turn the things around for KKR," he said.
The lanky fast bowler said his IPL side will miss the services of experience Australia captain Ricky Ponting and Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar.
Hope Kolkata Knight riders stay till the end this time in the 2009 season of ipl.
