New Zealand's Wicket Keeper and blaster batsman Brendon McCullum has replaced Sourav Ganguly as captain of Kolkata Knight Riders, according to sources.
the Knight Riders' coach John Buchanan had created a rave when he brought up the theory of multiple captains for his team KKR for the second season of the IPL in South Africa.
Sources coming in from South Africa says, Ganguly, it seems, has been sacked as captain.
Brendon McCullum has been appointed as the new skipper for the initial matches and he maybe replaced by someone other player later.
The other probables for the kolkata Knight Riders captains' position are Chris Gayle and Brad Hodge.
